Four levels of competition

| Mandal | Schools nominate their students to the mandal games. |
| District | Mandal winners go on to the district games. |
| State | District winners go on to the state games. |
| National | State winners represent Telangana at the national games. |

Schools nominate students from ISMS records; Mandal, District and State officers review nominations, schedule games and declare winners. The Rules & Guidelines page explains the levels, age groups and who goes through.
